Federico joined Allende & Brea in 2005 and became a partner in 2021.<\/p>\r\n
His practice focuses on all aspects of antitrust and competition law, including merger control proceedings, cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, as well as sector and market investigations. Federico is also actively involved in the representation of national and international clients in antidumping investigations.<\/p>\r\n
He graduated as a lawyer from Austral University in 2009. In 2007, as part of his law studies, he completed a semester exchange program at California University (Hastings College of the Law, San Francisco, USA), where he focused his studies on Competition Law, Law & Economics and Transnational Law.<\/p>\r\n
In 2017 he obtained an LL.M. in Competition Law from King’s College London (London, United Kingdom).<\/p>\r\n
During 2017 he worked as a foreign lawyer in the Competition, Trade and Regulatory practice at Herbert Smith Freehills (London, UK), where he was mainly engaged in advising clients on merger control matters before the competition authorities of various jurisdictions.<\/p>\r\n
He is an antitrust graduate and postgraduate professor at Universidad Austral. He is frequently invited to lecture in competition law matters to Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Universidad de Belgrano, Universidad de San Andr\u00e9s, and Universidad Nacional del Nordeste.<\/p>\r\n
He is a Commissioner of the Competition Law Committee of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association.<\/p>\r\n
Chambers & Partners Latin America ranks him in the ‘Band 2’ category for Antitrust\/Competition Law in Argentina, while Legal 500 recognizes him as a ‘Next Generation Partner’. He is also recognized as a ‘Leading Individual’ in the field of competition law by Who\u2019s Who Legal.<\/p>\r\n
