On September 22, 2025, through Executive Order No. 682\/2025 (the \u201cExecutive Order\u201d), the National Executive Branch set the export duty rate at ZERO PERCENT (0%) for certain agroindustrial goods. This measure aligns with previous Executives Orders (Nos. 697\/2024, 38\/2025, 439\/2025, and 526\/2025), which reduced duties on products related to regional economies, dairy, pork, grains, and by-products.<\/p>\n
Specifically, the Executive Order establishes that the export duty rate will be 0% for goods listed under the MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (N.C.M.) codes detailed in the annex to the Executive Order, effective until October 31, 2025, or until sworn export sales declarations (DJVE) reach a cumulative total of USD 7 billion\u2014whichever comes first.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the Executive Order provides that:<\/p>\n
(i) Foreign currency settlement: Exporters of the covered goods must settle at least 90% of the foreign currency proceeds (from export payments, advances, pre-financing or post-financing) within three (3) business days following the DJVE.<\/p>\n
(ii) Loss of benefit: If the above deadline is missed or the requirements are not met, the applicable export duty rate will revert to the rate in effect prior to the Executive Order\u2019s entry into force.<\/p>\n
(iii) Temporal application: The 0% rate applies to those who submit DJVEs or formalize shipment permits from the Executive Order\u2019s effective date (September 23, 2025) until the stated deadline.<\/p>\n
