Diego is the managing partner of Allende Brea.

He joined the firm in 1994 and became a partner in 2001.

His practice is concentrated in general business advice, with special emphasis on commercial law, corporate reorganizations and conflicts, mergers and acquisitions, international contracts and conflicts, investment protection, debt restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency. He also focuses on matters related to public law, in connection with constitutional rights of highly state-regulated companies.

He has been named as a leading professional in Corporate and M&A by internationally recognized publications, such as Latin Lawyer 250 and The Best Lawyers in Argentina, among others.

He was appointed as a member of the Commission that prepared a project to amend the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code (Executive Order No. 182/2018) and also as an Alternate Justice of the Argentine Supreme Court (Executive Order No. 1017/2018), for a three-year term.

He acted as an expert witness in the New York City courts in matters related to Argentine bankruptcy and commercial law, in international debt restructuring processes and in international litigation.

He is a regular law professor at the School of Law of the San Andrés University, in topics related to Constitutional Law.

He is a member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association and the Banking Lawyers Committee.
