Allende & Brea is committed to respect and protect your personal data. Therefore, we would like you to know what personal data we collect, how we do it and for what purpose.

This Privacy Policy describes the treatment of the data collected through:

• The Firm’s website and its forms.
• Applications enabled by the Firm to be use with computers or cellular devices.
• Through the Firm’s social networks.
• Through e-mails sent by the Firm which refer to this Privacy Policy.

To refer to the web pages, applications, social networks, e-mails and services collectively, we will refer to them as “Media”.

USE OF PERSONAL DATA

“Personal Data” is considered as information that identifies you as an individual or relates to an identifiable individual.

The Firm uses Personal Data for the following purposes:

• To send news (newsletters) about our services and news related to our professional activity.
• In case the user sends us his resume, we will treat his data in order to assess and manage your job application and, where appropriate, carry out the necessary actions for the selection and recruitment of personnel.
• For data analysis, which for example improve the efficiency of our services.
• To comply with the obligations established by the competent regulations.
• To improve, complement and/or modify our current products and services.
• To identify customer interests in order to understand the services and/or media are of most interest to them.
• To grow and improve the Firm’s own activity, understanding which parts of our services are of most interest to our users.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

In view of the above-mentioned purposes, the Firm collects the following Personal Data:

• Identification data: name, surname, date of birth, nationality, identity card, address, telephone number and e-mail.
• Academic and professional data: educational background, professional experience, languages, among others. The user guarantees that all the Personal Data provided are true, exact, complete and updated. The user will be responsible for any damage or harm, direct or indirect that could be caused as a consequence of the breach of such obligation.

The Personal Data may be collected in the following ways:

• Through the Media when, for example, a user chooses to receive our newsletters, requests some legal service, registers to be part of a seminar held at the Firm, or uses services that can only be accessed by logging in with a username.
• Offline, when, for example, you participate in a client service contract, provide information regarding client services, or interact with the Firm at a client event.
• From other sources. For example, we receive personal data from:
• Public databases;
• Information shared by partners and event sponsors;
• Entities that the Firm serves;
• Social networking platforms.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The Firm will store users’ Personal Data as long as necessary to carry out the purposes for which they were collected, or as long as the user does not revoke the consent given. Subsequently, if necessary, the information will be stored for the period required to cover possible liabilities.

In the case of the Personal Data provided by you in relation to the job offers you wish to apply to, they will be stored for one year, from the date of the last update. After this period, without any updates, the Personal Data will be deleted.

OTHER INFORMATION

The user’s IP address is automatically assigned to the computer by their internet service provider. When using the media, the IP address may be identified and automatically uploaded to our servers, along with the time of the visit and the pages visited. Collecting IP addresses is a common practice and is done automatically by many websites, applications and other services. We use IP addresses to calculate usage levels, diagnose server problems and administer the Media. The Firm may know the approximate location of users through their IP address.

The Firm may use and disclose the user´s IP Address information for any purpose, except as limited by the applicable law. In some cases, personal data will be combined with the IP Address. In that case, the combined information will be treated as Personal Data.

SECURITY

The Firm has adopted and will adopt the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the protection of your Personal Data and to avoid any alteration, loss, unauthorized treatment and/or unauthorized access, complying at all times with applicable regulations.

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

In the event that the User no longer wishes to receive e-mails, they may unsubscribe by changing their e-mail preferences, by following the instructions provided in our communications.

USER RIGHTS

The User has the right to access, modify or rectify the information provided as well as to request the updating or deletion of personal information provided to the Firm. In the case of a user´s update request, when an inaccuracy becomes known to the Firm, the updated is done after verifying the change with the data subject.

Users are informed that the AAPI is the control body of the applicable legislation and regulations and has the power to attend to complaints and claims that are filed in relation to non-compliance with the rules on personal data protection.

PRIVACY POLICY UPDATE

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, in which case we will post the changes on the Firm´s website. Therefore, we encourage users to review the site periodically.
