Diego joined Allende & Brea in 1994 and became a partner in 2001.

His practice is concentrated in general business advice, with special emphasis on commercial law, corporate reorganizations and conflicts, mergers and acquisitions, international contracts and conflicts, investment protection, debt restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency. He also focuses on matters related to public law, in connection with constitutional rights of companies with high state regulated.

He has been named as a leading professional in Corporate and M&A by internationally recognized publications such as Latin Lawyer 250 and The Best Lawyers in Argentina, among others.

He was appointed as a member of a Commission to elaborate a project to amend the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code (Decree No. 182/2018) and he was appointed asan Alternate Justice of the Argentine Supreme Court (Decree No. 1017/2018), for a three year term.

He acted as an expert witness in the New York City courts in matters of Argentine bankruptcy and commercial law, in international debt restructuring processes and in international litigation.

He is a regular law professor at the School of Law of the San Andrés University, in topics related to Constitutional Law.

He is a member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association and the Banking Lawyers Committee.
