As part of its 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, the AAIP developed these guidelines to strengthen the protection of children and adolescents’ personal data in digital environments.
On one hand, the ‘Guideline for Adolescents’ is designed to inform minors about the risks associated with the use of the internet, their rights as data subjects, and the best practices to protect their privacy and prevent its violation.
On the other hand, the ‘Pedagogical Guideline’ offers didactic proposals for parents and educators to use in teaching children and adolescents on the subject. The guideline includes activities to identify key concepts and design risk prevention strategies.
The AAIP’s initiatives reflect its commitment to protecting minors in the digital world while fostering the development of a conscious and responsible digital citizenship, all within the framework of existing regulations.
