On 6 August, our associates Indra Boneta and Lucía Yaryura Tobías took part in a Legal Meeting for Women in Barrio 31. They took part together with colleagues from O’Farrell Abogados and J.P. Morgan. The event was organised by the Pro Bono Commission of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and the City Government’s Territorial Approach Directorate.
The workshop was about two hours long and looked at practical legal tools related to alimony, personal care, changing the person receiving the AUH (Universal Child Allowance), changing one’s first and/or last name, and other family rights.
At Allende & Brea, we believe that pro bono work also means being present in the community, sharing legal knowledge, and strengthening access to justice where it is most needed.
