Pro Bono in the community: Visit to Penitentiary Complex No. 48 with Foundation Espartanos

This Thursday, we visited San Martín Prison Complex No. 48, in a visit coordinated by Indra Boneta, with the participation of associates Belén Zelayeta and Daniela Riggio, as part of the joint work between Allende & Brea, the Pro Bono Commission, and the Espartanos Foundation.

During the tour, Patricia Perotti and Dolores Irigoin shared the pillars of the comprehensive social reintegration program that the Foundation has been promoting since 2009, based on sports, spirituality, education, and connection to the world of work.

We also heard about the needs and challenges they face, such as bias and prejudice, but also how, through concrete opportunities, they rebuild relationships and find purpose in their lives.
The impact is tangible: the Foundation has managed to reduce recidivism rates from 65% to 5%.

At Allende & Brea, we reaffirm our pro bono commitment by reaching out and walking alongside different realities, supporting initiatives that generate opportunities and promote rights.
