The National Migration Office extends its admission policy for green card holders.

On Wednesday, 14 January, the National Migration Office issued a statement announcing a significant update regarding admission to Argentine territory.

As announced, the National Immigration Office is extending the admission requirements for permanent residents of the United States, establishing that U.S. permanent residency cards (Green Cards) will be accepted as valid documentation for entering the country as a tourist or for business purposes.

This decision is based on the rigorous security and control processes applied by the US authorities for the issuance of permanent residences, which makes the Green Card a document with high security standards.

It is important to note that the measure applies to all foreign citizens who hold a valid Green Card, regardless of nationality. However, the National Migration Office retains the power to subsequently establish restrictions with regard to certain nationalities.
