Joint Resolution No. 2/2025 of the Secretariat of Industry and Commerce and the Secretariat of Health Management, published on April 04, 2025in the Official Gazette, sets forth that pharmacies and mutual pharmacies will be obliged to clearly display the prices of prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
Pharmacies must clearly display the final price of prescription medicines and provide the public with an updated price list of all prescription medicines by means of a QR code. The QR code shall be easily accessible both physically and virtually and shall be accompanied by a sign with the legend: “CHECK PRICE LIST OF MEDICINAL PRODUCTS HERE”.
Prices of over-the-counter medicines shall be clearly displayed in pharmacies with publicly accessible shelves, in accordance with Resolution No. 4/2025 of the Secretariat of Industry and Commerce.
Non-compliance shall be sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 274 dated April 17, 2019 and/or Law No. 24.240, as amended.
The Joint Resolution shall enter into force thirty (30) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
