On August 27th, 2020, pursuant to Communiqué No. “A” 7094, the Argentine Central Bank (the “Central Bank“) extended the validity of Communiqué No. “A” 7030 and its complementary rules until October 31, 2020, inclusive.
Furthermore, for the purpose of making payments through the Exchange Market without the Central Bank´s prior written authorization, when the interested party holds more than USD100,000 in available external liquid assets, in the case of funds deposited in foreign bank account that result from financial indebtedness abroad, this Communiqué modifies the previous term (120 calendar days), establishing that the amount of such funds must not exceed the equivalent to pay for capital and interest for the next 365 calendar days.
