Martín joined Allende & Brea as an associate in 2003, initially in the Litigation Department; currently is part of ESG & Sustainability Department where he develops his practice in environmental law. He obtained his law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2001. In 2009 joined the Environmental Management Program from the Universidad Austral and, in 2017/2018 the Master in Law & Economics of the University of Buenos Aires. In 2022, he assisted to the Program on Climate Change and Ecological Transition from the University of Buenos Aires.
His practice includes advising companies in the assessment and compliance of environmental laws and regulations, including –among other matters- the application to environmental permits, the implementation of environmental management systems, the assessment of environmental liabilities and representing clients in all kind of environmental proceedings, and individual and collective environmental claims. Regularly advises on the environmental legal aspects related to mergers
and acquisitions and credit operations.
He has been recognized as Rising Star by The Legal 500 Latin America for his environmental law practice.
Martín integrates and actively participates in various groups intended to the follow up of environmental regulations under various business chambers and published various articles related to topics of his field of specialization.
He is a member of the Federal Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires.
