On October 2, 3 and 4, the Pro Bono Week took place in Argentina, bringing together minds committed to justice and solidarity in the City of Buenos Aires. This initiative was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Pro Bono Commission, Trustlaw Foundation, Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice and the Pro Bono Network of the Americas.
Diego Botana, partner of Allende & Brea, participated as a speaker in the “Freedom of Media and Expression” panel. His experience and perspectives enriched the debate, highlighting the importance of protecting these fundamental pillars in our society.
Sofia Pasquini, our Pro Bono Coordinator, played a crucial role in coordinating such significant panels as “ESG and Corporate Pro Bono”, “Access to Justice and Fundamental Rights” and “Freedom of the Media”. Her leadership was key to ensuring in-depth discussions and valuable reflections around these vital topics.
We would like to thank the organizers, speakers and coordinators of the Pro Bono Week for promoting and participating in the creation of these spaces for meeting, exchange of ideas and collaboration among colleagues to discuss the issues that affect our society today.
Each panel, each shared word, represents one more step towards the construction of a fairer world. We pledge to continue to actively participate in these transformative dialogues, contributing to the construction of meaningful and lasting solutions.
